Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 C canola oil
  • 2 bottle anise oil (or 2 t vanilla or more)
  • 3 C all purpose flour- SIFT FLOUR BEFORE MEASURING
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1 1/2 C sugar

Directions

  1. Beat eggs til smooth

  2. Add oil and either vanilla or anise extract-beat

  3. Add sugar and beat very well

  4. Add sifted together flour and baking powder into egg and oil mixture and sugar

  5. Mix to blend- dont over beat

  6. Use small scoop for batter on pizzelle iron

  7. Add a few drops water into cookie mixture if needed ( I added about 1/2 t or so after I had cooked 1/2 of batter)

  8. WHEN BATTER DIRZZLED IT SHOULD DROP FROM SPOON IN 2 -3 SECONDS AND A RIBBON OF BATTER CAN BE FORMED
