Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 C sugar
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 3/4 C scaled milk ( I use 2 1/4 C whole milk and 1/2 C heavy cream
Directions

Large pie pan lined with unbaked crust

Be sure to put pan with aluminum foil under pie dish to catch any spillage from pie

oven 450 degrees for 10 minutes and then 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until pie is set

Combine eggs, sugar and salt.

Gradually stir in slightly cooled scalded milk mixture- slowly so as not to make “scrambled eggs”
