Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk, at room temp
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 1 bag frozen mixed berries
Directions

In a large bowl, stir first 9 ingredients just until blended. Cover with plastic wrap; let stand for 30 minutes. Chill batter overnight. Preheat waffle iron. In a medium saucepan, heat berries over medium, breaking them up slightly with spoon, until heated through, 5-10 minutes. Cover berries to keep warm. Cook wafflers in waffle iron as directed, 3-4 minutes per batch. Top waffles with berries.
