Lemon bars

Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1C flour
- 1/4 C powdered sugar
- 1/2 C butter
- Filling:
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 T lemon juice
- 2 T flour
- 1/2 t Baking powder
- 1 C sugar
- Powdered sugar to top
Directions

Preheat oven 350

Crust

Mix flour, powder sugar and soften butter

Pat into bottom and a little way up sides of a 9×9 greased pan

Bake 12-15 minutes

Make filling while crust baking

Filling

Blend eggs, lemon juice, flour, baking powder. Whil lightly with a whisk until blended

When crust is done pour filling onto hot crust, return to oven and bake an additional 20 minutes

Cool slightly

While still warm sleeker with powder sugar

Cut into 16 squares
