Fried chicken

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs cup up chicken pieces
  • 1 quart water
  • 3 table salt for soaking
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 table salt
  • 1 tea pepper
  • oil

Directions

  1. allow chicken to soak in salted water for 30 min

  2. mix egg and milk in bowl.

  3. mix flour salt pepper in another bowl

  4. 350 deep fryer or 3/4 inch oil in skillet on med.

  5. dry chicken with paper towels.

  6. put chicken in flour mix and place in milk eggs and back to flour mix.

  7. make sure there is total coverage

  8. do only a few pieces at a time for 20 min covered turning occasionally.

  9. same for pan frying.

  10. drain on paper towel
