Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 table shortening
- 4 tea cocoa
- 2 table evaporated milk
- 1/2 tea vanilla
- candy thermometer
Directions

in a bowl mix sugar, shortening and cocoa

mix well and pour into saucepan

bring to a boil and simmer til temp is 275 on candy thermometer

allow to cool for 10 min.

add evaporated milk and vanilla

use electric mixer and beat til very thick
-
scrape candy onto lightly greased cookie sheed and allow to cool.

when cool mold into desired size and shape
