Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 cup cold seltzer
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and peeled
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Ponzu sauce, for dipping
Directions

Whisk flour and cornstarch with kosher salt and seltzer. Dip asparagus in the batter, then deep-fry in batches in 350 degree vegetable oil until crisp, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve with ponzu sauce for dipping.
