Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 family-size tea bags
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 1 cup thinly sliced sweet onion
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 bone-in chicken breasts
- Garnish: chopped fresh chives

In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil. Add tea bags; remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags.

In a large bowl, stir together hot tea, brown sugar, and salt until sugar is dissolved. Stir in onion, orange juice, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and pepper. Let cool completely, about 1 1/2 hours. Add chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Spray grill rack with cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium heat.

Remove chicken from tea mixture and pat dry. Grill chicken, skin side down, covered with grill lid, for 10 minutes. Turn chicken; cook, covered with grill id, until cooked through, about 20 minutes. Garnish with chives.
