S’Mores Cereal Bars

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 10.5 oz. bag mini marshmallows, divided
  • 5 cups honey graham cereal
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips, divided

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to broil. Line a 9-inch baking pan with foil, letting excess foil extend over sides of pan. Spray foil with cooking spray.

  2. In a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Reserve 1/2 cup marshmallows; add remaining marshmallows to butter. Cook, stirring frequently, until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat.

  3. Gently stir cereal into marshmallow mixture until coated; stir in 1/4 cup reserved marshmallows and 3/4 cup chocolate chips until combined. With lightly greased hands, press mixture into an even layer in prepared pan. Top with remaining 1/4 cup reserved marshmallows and remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips.

  4. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat source until marshmallows are lightly browned, about 30 seconds. Let cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Using excess foil as handles, remove from pan; cut into bars. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
