Ingredients
- Vanilla Sheet Cake (see recipe)
- 2 tbsp. grated lemon zest
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- Frosting:
- Vanilla Frosting (see recipe)
- 1 tbsp. grated lemon zest
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- Yellow food coloring
- Sanding sugar
Directions

For the cake: Make Vanilla Sheet Cake, adding lemon zest and juice with the sugar.

For the frosting: Make Vanilla Frosting, beating lemon zest with the butter and replacing the vanilla with lemon juice; use only 2 tbsp. milk. Tint with yellow food coloring. Frost the cake and top with sanding sugar.
