Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- Salt and pepper
- 4 hot dogs
- Grilled buns
- Shredded cheddar

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring, until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef, breaking it up with the back of a spoon, and cook until nicely browned, about 10 minutes.

Stir in ketchup, chili powder and yellow mustard and simmer until thickened, about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Grill hot dogs over medium-high heat, turning, until marked. Serve on buns and top with chili and cheddar.
