Sichuan Peppercorn Pork Rub

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns
  • 4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1 tsp light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. Pulse Sichuan peppercorns in a spice gringer with cumin seeds, sesame seeds and red pepper flakes until cracked. Transfer to a small bowl and mix in Chinese five-spice, light brown sugar and garlic powder.
