Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 4 cups water
- 2-4 celery, stalks of, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 28-oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2-4 carrots, sliced
- 1 jalapeno, optional
- 12 oz beef broth (1.5 cups)
- 1 tsp oregeno
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1 T parsley
- 1 15-oz can chickpeas
- green beans
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- noodles (optional)
- romano or parmesan cheese
Directions

Remove casing on Italian sausage and brown. Add ingredients through parsley and simmer for 6 hours.

Then add chickpeas, grean beans, sugar, and noodles.

Simmer 1 hour more.

Serve with romano or parmesan cheese.
