Olive Garden Lasagne Fritta

Ingredients

  • For Lasagna:
  • 7 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup Parmesan
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 6 oz. ricotta
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • Marinara and Alfredo sauce
  • For Breading:
  • 2 cups Italian bread
  • 1 egg, large
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

  1. Over moderate heat in a large saucepan, heat butter with milk, white pepper, ricotta and Parmesan until starts boiling; stir frequently.

  2. Now, boil the lasagna noodles as directed.

  3. When done, spread a very thin layer of milk and cheese mix along with noodle, folding it into 2 inch pieces. Place them inside a freezer and let rest for an hour, until completely set. To keep them together you can even place something heavy over the top.

  4. move and then cut the pieces half long-ways. Dip each piece into the egg/milk mixture and then into the bread crumbs. Carefully fry the coated stuff for a couple of minutes at 350.

  5. First, spread the Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a large serving plate then place the pieces into the sauce. Finally drizzle the marinara over the top. Serve warm and enjoy.
