Roasted Garlic Paste

Ingredients

  • 1 lb garlic heads
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheart oven to 375

  2. Remove loose skins from outside of garlic heads. Cut off the top 1/3 of the4 heads to open the cloves. Place heads in small baking dish, cut sides up, pour olive oil over them adnsprinkle with salt and pepper.

  3. Coverdish and bake until 34 done, about 45 minutes. Uncover and continue bakeing another 15 minutes. Cool

  4. Squeeze cloves out of their skins into a bowl. Add oil from baking dish and mix well, forming a paste.
