Ingredients
- 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/8 c honey
- 1/4 c red wine
- bay leaf
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 lb lean graound beef
- 2 15 oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 c water
Directions

Combine diced tomatoe3s, onions, arlic, honey, wine and spices in large pot.

Simmer on med high for 40 minutes, stirring feuently and adding a little water if necessary.

In separate skillet, brown beef. Add beef to minxture along with remaining ingredients.

Simmer for 1 hour covered.
