Ingredients
- Honey Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Meat:
- 2 1/4 lbs. pork riblets
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke flavoring
- 1 tsp water
Directions
-
ason the riblets with the salt, garlic and pepper as you like, then sear them on a grill until the meat starts to separate from the bone. While doing this, preheat the oven to 275.
-
Mix the water and liquid smoke into a deep pan and place the ribs on an elevated rack inside—make sure that the liquid does not touch the ribs.
-
ver the pan with two layers of foil and bake for 2 to 5 hours. Make sure that the internal temp of the meat reaches 155.
-
While waiting for the riblets to cook, prepare the sauce by mixing the sauce ingredients and let simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
-
When the sauce is done cooking, transfer to a bowl, and set aside.
-
When the ribs are done cooking, sear them on a grill until the marrow starts sizzling.
-
Place the ribs on a plate and cover generously with the sauce.
-
Serve and enjoy.
