P.F. Chang’s Spicy Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. green beans, rinsed and trimmed
  • 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sauce:
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp Szechuan peppercorn

Directions

  1. Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Bring some water to a boil and add the green beans. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until crispy.

  3. Saute the garlic and ginger in the oil. When the mixture becomes aromatic, add in the green beans and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until soft.

  4. Add in the sauce and continue stirring the beans.

  5. Serve with rice.
