Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Directions

In a medium saucepan, stir together sugar and 1/2 cup water just until moistened; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook, without stirring, until mixture turns amber in color, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in cream, butter and salt until smooth. Let cool until slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
