Two-Cheese Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 1 cup milk, divided
  • 1 1/2 oz. shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1/2 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together flour and cayenne with 1/4 cup of the milk. Whisk in remaining milk until smooth. Place over medium heat and cook until slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly using a flat spatula.

  2. Remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients until smooth.
