Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. chicken breasts, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 tsp cornstarch
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 tsp sesame seeds, or to taste
- Chopped green onion, for garnish
Directions

Spread chicken in bottom of a slow cooker. Stir together honey, onion, soy sauce, tomato paste, cornstarch, garlic and crushed red pepper in a bowl; pour over chicken. Cook, covered, on LOW 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Meanwhile, bring water with rice to a boil in a saucepan, covered. Reduce heat to low and cook 20 minutes.

Stir chicken and sauce mixture, then sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve over warm rice. Garnish with green onion.
