Garlic-Sauteed Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp each salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. Simmer green beans in water, about 8 minutes. Zest and juice a lemon. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic; saute 30 seconds. Stir in green beans, 2 tbsp lemon juice, salt, pepper and 1/4 tsp lemon zest. Cook 2 minutes.
