Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. green beans, trimmed
- Ice water
- 2 bacon slices
- 1/3 cup chopped green onion
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper
Directions

Boil green beans 4 minutes. Drain, plunge into ice water, and drain again. Chop bacon; cook in a skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Stir in cooked green beans, green onion, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Cook until warmed through.
