Basil; Cream Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 c minced onions
  • 3/4 lb mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 3 tbs butter
  • 3 tbs flour
  • 2 c chicken broth
  • 1 chicken bouillion cube
  • 1 c whole milk
  • 2 tbs minced fresh basil
  • pepper

Directions

  1. saute chicken, onions and mushrooms in oil for 4 minutes.

  2. In large saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour until smooth.

  3. Add chicken broth, bouillion and cream.

  4. Stir in basil and pepper.

  5. Combine with chicken mixture.

  6. Serve over fettucinni.
