Mocha Ice-cream dessert

Recipe for 9X13 amount
amounts on side cut in half amount

Ingredients

  • 12-24 crumbled oreo cookies
  • 1/6-1/3 melted butter
  • Combine for crust and press in 9X13 dish-CHILL
  • 1/2 gallon coffee ice cream-softened some(cut in half if halving recipe)
  • 1 1/2 oz-3 oz unsweetened chocolate-use solid chocolate and shave for later
  • 1-2 T butter
  • 1/2-1 C sugar
  • dash salt
  • 1-2 oz cans evaporated milk
  • 1/4-1/2 t vanilla
  • 3/4-1 1/2 C heavy cream-whipped
  • 1-1 1/2 oz kahlua liquor
  • powdered sugar to taste

Directions

  1. Make crust and chill

  2. Into chilled crust spoon softened ice cream and freeze

  3. Melt chocolate and butter

  4. Add sugar, salt and milk

  5. Bring to a boil stirring until thickened.

  6. Remove from heat and add vanilla-chill

  7. Spread on top of ice-cream

  8. Freeze

  9. Whip cream and then add Kahlua and powdered sugar to taste

  10. Spread over chocolate layer and sprinkle top with nuts if desired

  11. Freeze
