Mocha Ice-cream dessert
(from maude’s recipe box)
Recipe for 9X13 amount
amounts on side cut in half amount
Ingredients
- 12-24 crumbled oreo cookies
- 1/6-1/3 melted butter
- Combine for crust and press in 9X13 dish-CHILL
- 1/2 gallon coffee ice cream-softened some(cut in half if halving recipe)
- 1 1/2 oz-3 oz unsweetened chocolate-use solid chocolate and shave for later
- 1-2 T butter
- 1/2-1 C sugar
- dash salt
- 1-2 oz cans evaporated milk
- 1/4-1/2 t vanilla
- 3/4-1 1/2 C heavy cream-whipped
- 1-1 1/2 oz kahlua liquor
- powdered sugar to taste
Directions

Make crust and chill

Into chilled crust spoon softened ice cream and freeze

Melt chocolate and butter

Add sugar, salt and milk

Bring to a boil stirring until thickened.

Remove from heat and add vanilla-chill

Spread on top of ice-cream

Freeze

Whip cream and then add Kahlua and powdered sugar to taste

Spread over chocolate layer and sprinkle top with nuts if desired
