Ingredients
- Pastry for single-crust pie
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups pecan halves
- Whipped cream
Directions

eheat oven to 375. Roll out dough to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Transfer crust to the pie plate. Trim to 1-inch beyond edge of plate; flute edges.

In a bowl, whisk eggs, and sugar until smooth. Add the syrup, butter, vanilla, salt and nuts. Pour into crust.

Bake until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, 30-40 minutes. Cool on a wire rack 1 hour. Top with cream. Store in fridge.
