Top-of-the-Morning Sausage and Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp butter
  • 4 cups chopped cooked sausage
  • 10.75 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 6 refrigerator canned biscuits, cut into halves

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except biscuits into slow cooker.

  2. Cook on LOW for 2 hours.

  3. Top with biscuit halves so entire top is covered.

  4. Cook for 2 hours longer.
