Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions

Preheat oven to 300.

Using a mixer, combine softened butter and sugars. Mix in egg and vanilla. Combine until there are no longer lumps.

Mix flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar in a bowl. Then, combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients. Blend well. Let rest in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

Mix 2 tbsp granulated sugar and tsp of cinnamon together in a bowl.

Ball about 2 1/2 tbsp dough and coat evenly with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Transfer onto a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Repeat for the rest of the dough.

Bake for no longer than 12 minutes. Cookies should be light golden brown but still soft, not crunchy.
