Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- Cooking spray
- Pure maple syrup, to serve
Directions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

Add the milk, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla to the bowl. Stir with a fork until just combined. Stir in the butter and let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat a waffle iron as directed.

Spray the waffle iron with cooking spray. Ladle enough batter to cover two thirds of the surface. The waffle is cooked through when you see all the steam has stopped shooting out the sides of the iron. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Serve the waffles hot with syrup as they are ready.
