Apple Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped fresh apple (with skin)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Step 1

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add apple and brown sugar. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

  4. Stir in oats, apple cider, milk, cinnamon, and salt and cook, stirring frequently, until oatmeal is creamy and thickened, about 3 minutes.
