Linguine With Vodka Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb linguine
  • Olive oil to taste
  • 6 plum tomatoes, coarsly chopped
  • 1 cup basil leaves coarsly chopped
  • s and p to taste
  • 1/4 c vodka
  • 1/4 c heavy cream

Directions

  1. Cook pasta. Saute tomatoes and basil for 1 to 2 minutes.

  2. Season and lower heat and simmer 10 to 15 m inutes. Add vodka an d bring to boil. add cream and cook, stirring until heated through.
