Grandma’s Mac and Cheese

(from dionnedailey’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb box of Macaroni Noodles
  • Use half the box
  • Sargento Shreaded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 oz Land O Lakes Soft Squeeze Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Milk
  • Eggs

Directions

  1. Follow directions on the pasta box

  2. Rinse, Drain, and let cool

  3. Oil bottom of pan (spray w/Pam or oil with butter)

  4. Put 1 layer of noodles

  5. Salt and Pepper

  6. Butter

  7. Add Shreaded Cheese

  8. Add another layer of noodles

  9. Salt and Pepper

  10. Butter

  11. STOP

  12. Beat 3 to 4 eggs with milk

  13. Pour over macaroni

  14. Use a for to make sure it goes down

  15. Pour more milk til you can see it at the top

  16. Add the last layer of cheese

  17. Bake @ 400 degrees uncovered for 30 minutes

  18. Stick a fork in it to see if its loose milk

  19. If it si let it stay in a little longer
