Ingredients
- 1/2 cup very finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup fine dried bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Dijon
- 4 tsp Bourbon
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
- 1/3 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion, for garnish
- Toasted pecan pieces, for garnish

eheat oven to 350.

Stir together pecans, bread crumbs, and salt in a bowl; spread onto a plate. Whisk together egg and milk in a bowl. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then dredge in pecan mixture to coat.

Heat oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; cook until browned on 1 side, about 5 minutes. Turn chicken over and transfer skillet to oven.

Bake 15 minutes or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, whisk together brown sugar, Dijon, bourbon, soy sauce and Worcestershire in a small saucepan until smooth. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Remove from heat and whisk in cold butter, 1 piece at a time. (Do not return to heat). Serve sauce over chicken and garnish with green onion and pecan pieces.
