Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 stick butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions

Whisk flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and soda in a large bowl. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, butter and vanilla; whisk into the dry ingredients. Cook 1/2 cupfuls in a buttered nonstick skillet over medium heat until bubbles form and the bottom is golden, about 3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden on the other side, about 1 minute.
