broccoli soup

Ingredients

  • 2 10 ounce pkgs chopped broccoli** cooked
  • 2 T butter
  • 3/4 C chopped onion
  • 6 C chicken broth
  • ? or to taste 1 t salt
  • 8 oz fine egg noodles
  • 6 C milk
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 lb velvetta cheese
  • pepper to taste

Directions

  1. saute onions in butter

  2. add chicken broth and gradually add noodles and salt

  3. Cook 3 minutes and add broccoli and garlic powder

  4. Cook 3 minutes and add milk, cheese and oeooer

  5. Freezes for up to a month
