Fried Parsnips

Ingredients

  • 1 package parsnips
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. oleo
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Peel and slice parsnips lengthwise – the thinner the better.
  2. Boil 3-4 minutes in small amount of water.
  3. Drain then roll in flour. Shake off all excess.
  4. Fry in oleo until golden brown.
