Ingredients

• 1/2 c. oleo
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1 c. white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 c. flour
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 1/2 c. applesauce (sweetened or unsweetened)

Directions

1. Mix together oleo, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Set aside.
2. Mix together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and nutmeg. Stir into the liquid mix.
3. Add applesauce.
4. Bake 30 minutes.
