Ingredients
- Spanish onion
- oil
- Wet Batter:
- 2 C buttermilk
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1 t pepper
- Dry Batter:
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1/4 C cornmeal
- 1 t salt
- 1 T cracked pepper
Directions

Mix both wet and dry batter in separate bowls

Heat oil to 350 degrees

Dip onion rings into wet batter, drip off and dip into dry batter

Cook about 2 minutes until golden brown

Can stay in oven on2 250 for a few minutes to keep warm
