Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup (white)
- 2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. shifted soda
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Grease cookie sheet ahead of time.
- Cook sugar, corn syrup, and water to hard boil. Add peanuts. Cook to hard crack stage.
- Remove from heat. Add vanilla, salt, and soda.
- Take 2 knives and pull from outside while real hot to make it thin. (Really takes 2 people for the last part.) The thinner, the better.
- When cold, break into pieces and store in covered container.
