Classic Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • One 16-oz. can pork & beans
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. molasses (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. eat oven to 350.

  2. Cook bacon to crisp. Drain. Crumble bacon.
  3. In 1-quart casserole, combine bacon, pork and beans, onion, ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, mustard and Worcestershire.
  4. Bake uncovered 30-35 minutes or until thickened and bubbly, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Yields about 4 servings.
