Best Ever Sweet & Sour Sauce

For turkey, chicken, or pork

Ingredients
- 1 20-oz can pineapple chunks
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 1/4 c. green pepper strips
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 2 c. cubed turkey, chicken, or pork
- Hot fluffy rice
Directions
- Drain pineapple, saving juice, and adding water to make 3 cups.
- Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and ginger. Stir in pineapple juice, vinegar, and soy sauce. Bring mixture to boil. Stir constantly.
- Add green pepper, onions, carrots, turkey, and pineapple chunks. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until veggies are tender, crisp.
- Serve over rice.
