Ingredients
- 1 package of yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 3 c. lukewarm water
- 11 c. of flour, about
- 1/2 c. melted shortening or oil.
Directions
- Soak yeast, water, and sugar to dissolve yeast.
- Combine eggs, 1 cup of sugar, salt, and lukewarm water. Beat in about 7 cups of flour, then add shortening.
- Beat 1/2 c. flour on bread board, mix at 4:30 p.m.
- Knead every hour, 6-7-8-9 til 10:00 p.m.
- Make into rolls on cookie sheet, cover with towel. Put in cool room.
- In the morning, turn oven on to 315 degrees.
- Bake 20 minutes or more till they are nice and brown.
