Morton’s Garlic Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 chopped shallot
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. thawed frozen French-cut green beans
  • Salt, to taste
  • Ground white pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large saute pan over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbling but not browned.

  2. Add the shallot and garlic and saute until softened, about 30 seconds.

  3. Add the beans and toss a couple of times.

  4. Add the salt and pepper and continue to saute until all is hot throughout, approx. 2 minutes.
