Ingredients
- 3 C self rising flour
- 1/2 C butter-very cold
- 1 1/4-1 1/2 C buttermilk or yogurt
- kosher salt
Directions

Using food processor:
-
3 C self rising flour
-
Add 1/2 stick butter(divided into 4 pats)

Pulse to mix
-
Add other 1/2 stick butter
-
Pulse a couple of ties
-
Add some of buttermilk
-
Pulse 4 times

Add rest of butter milk to total of 1 1/4 C

Pulse 3 times
-
Add remainder milk if needed

Dough onto floured counter
-
Fold about a dozen times

Flour dough and pat out and make into biscuit rounds
- for size of biscuits desired

butter top of biscuit when ready to bake

Bake 425 for 20-25 minutes on parchment paper

Can bake or refrigerate after making dough into biscuit rounds
