Ingredients
- 6 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large onions, halved and thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 16 oz. shredded barbecued pork
- 6 oz. thinly sliced white cheddar cheese

In an extra-large skillet heat 2 tbsp of the butter and olive oil over medium. Add onions, salt, and pepper. Cook about 15 minutes or until very tender and starting to brown, stirring occasionally.

Preheat the oven to 350. Arrange roll bottoms in a 13×9-inch baking pan. Layer with pork, onions and cheese. Add tops to sandwiches. Melt remaining 1/4 cup butter. Drizzle over rolls. Cover pan with foil.

Bake 15 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 to 15 minutes more or until cheese is melted and roll tops are light brown.
