Ingredients
- 4 shakes blackened-steak seasoning
- 2 beef steaks
- Butter, as needed
- 1 cup julienne-cut yellow onions
- 1/2 cup julienne-cut red peppers
- 1/2 cup julienne-cut green peppers
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- 2 slices Cheddar cheese
- 2 slices Monterey Jack cheese
Directions

Preheat the grill.

Add the steak seasoning to both sides of the steaks.

Grill steaks to desired doneness.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and saute the onion and peppers for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and garlic.

Reduce the heat and simmer until the steak is cooked.

For final minute of steak cooking, top each steak with 1 slice of Cheddar and 1 slice of Monterey Jack.

Plate the steaks with the onions and peppers.
