Pasta herb lemn

(from maude’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 6 oz pasta
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 T flour
  • 2 C whole milk
  • 1/4 C Parmesan
  • 1 lemon-juice and zest
  • 2 T fresh chopped parsley
  • 1t fresh finely chopped rosemary
  • 1/2 t fresh thyme
  • 2 C baby spinach leaves

Directions

  1. Cook pasta

  2. Melt butter n skillet

  3. Add flour and stir about 1 minute

  4. Slowly add milk while stirring, cooking a more bite or so

  5. Add parsley, rosemary and thyme

  6. Simmer until sauce begins thickenabout 3 minutes

  7. Add Parmesan, lemon juice and zest

  8. Add pasta and spinach

  9. Cook until spinach wilts
