Chicken and Rice Bake

A ‘staple’ in my recipe box. May use pork chops instead of chicken.

Cook time: 45 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 10 3/4 oz. can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 C. Water
  • 3/4 C. uncooked regular long grain rice
  • 1/4 t. paprika
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 4 skinless bonelss chicken breasts/4-8 thighs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. In 2 qt. shallow baking dish:

  3. Mix soup, water, rice, paprika, and pepper.

  4. Place chicken on rice mixture.

  5. Sprinkle with additional paprika and pepper.

  6. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 mins.
