Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda

Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, swirling occasionally, until amber, 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in sesame seeds and salt, then baking soda. Spread in a thin layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let cool. Break into pieces.
