Salted Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp flaky salt

Directions

  1. Combine sugar with water in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook, swirling the pan, until dark amber, 10 to 12 minutes. Slowly whisk in heavy cream, butter and salt until smooth.
